甜杏仁油主要成分不饱和脂肪酸为油酸与亚油酸，含丰富维生素E；极为温和，具有良好的亲肤性，连最娇嫩的婴儿都可以使用。中性、舒缓、清爽不腻，质地相当轻柔、润滑，是最不油腻的基础油，适合作全身按摩用，与任何植物油皆可互相调和，还具有隔离紫外线的作用，因此也是最广泛使用的基础油。能柔软肌肤、保湿、特别适用于皮肤发痒、红肿、干燥与面疱。
The almond is a deciduous tee, gowing 4–10 metes (13–33ft) in height, with a tunk of up to 30 centimetes (12in) in diamete.
